When you are proofreading a

or discouraged. Feeling the former means that you are confident in your work,
and you know that you are going to do great, but the feeling the latter means
that you are not sure of the things you have written.
Proofreading is finding errors in
one’s work. It means that you must scan and correct mistakes. Every proofreader
is different, and proofreading is not done only once, but it also is always
better to reread and recheck work always. To help you proofread your work better,
here are some tips you may check.
Double check facts,
figures and names
When making sure that the details
you have places in your paper are correct, you must double-check it. Having factual
errors in your essay may ruin the integrity of the whole document. It may also
cause your reader not to trust anything you say.
Read your paper aloud
There are times when reading your
essay aloud may help you notice errors that you might have missed.
Trust your dictionary
If you encounter difficult words,
check the dictionary. Almost all word processors have built-in spellcheck
functions, so this might be one of the easiest to accomplish. But if you’re
writing using pen and paper, you might want a handy dictionary and a thesaurus
nearby.
Create a checklist
A checklist is useful to make
sure you’ve, in a manner of speaking, dotted all the I’s and crossed all the T’s.
Check one problem at a
time
For you to check your paper
better, concentrate on one problem at a time. Doing so will lessen the chances
of you missing some errors.
Review a printed copy
You can also try the old style of

They say writers are the worst

go a long way. You can try finding a study buddy to help you review your work.
If you can’t give your self time to away from your work, maybe read a book,
before going back and editing your essay. It will help you distance yourself
from the work and see it more clearly.
